Sino-Tibetan statues to star at Zanaba Auctions, Jan. 19 |

In its entirety, this sale will present 70 lots of quality antiques and fine artworks that include Sino-Tibetan gilt bronzes; Chinese jade, horn and bamboo carvings; and several Southeast Asian works of art that include fine Indian and Khmer pieces. Leading the sale are five major Sino-Tibetan statues. They are:
Other featured lots include a unique horn beak carved bead bracelet (Lot 4) and two Chinese horn carved libation cups (Lot 15 and Lot 16). From the Indian works section, there is a rare Indo-Tibetan bronze figure of Tara or Gaja-Lakshimi (Lot 57), an Indian bronze Kashmiri seated Buddha (Lot 60), and a rare Indian Pala bronze Three Goddess Trinity (Lot 62). A Khmer bronze five-headed and multiarmed deity (Lot 66) stands out with its very beautiful patina together with the presence of purplish blue azurite encrustations.
