Zheng Zhong Auction to hold Asian specialty sale Dec. 23

FLUSHING, N.Y. – Zheng Zhong Auction Inc., which focuses on Asian works of art and the promotion of Chinese history and culture, will conduct just such an auction on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 4 p.m. EST (1 p.m. Pacific). LiveAuctioneers.com will provide Internet live bidding for the nearly 400 lots.

The most highly regarded antique in the sale is a gilt bronze “parrot” jar, which carries an estimate of $180,000-$200,000. The starting bid for this item is $90,000.
