Bruce Kodner Galleries presents well-rounded sale June 10

LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Antiques, fine art, ivory and estate jewelry will be auctioned by Bruce Kodner Galleries Inc. on Sunday, June 10, beginning at 1 p.m. ETD. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide Internet live bidding for the 285-lot auction.

A preview exhibition is Sunday from 11 a.m. to auction time at the gallery, 24 S. Dixie Highway in Lake Worth.

Foremost among the paintings is an oil on board depicting a seashore scene signed Charles-Francois Daubigny (French, 1817-1878). The painting, 23 1/2 inches by 12 1/8 inches, is expected to bring $18,000-$22,000.

Among the antique highlights is an exquisite KPM porcelain plaque picturing a semi nude young woman sitting on a rock. The plaque, bearing the KPM mark on the back, is in a giltwood frame that measures 10 inches by 7 1/2 inches. It is estimated at $10,000-$12,000.

An Art Nouveau Daum Nancy art glass vase having magnificent brown, green, red, and yellow hues throughout is estimated at $10,000-$12,000. Standing 19 1/2 inches tall, the signed vase has green leaves falling from the top and red flower buds.

Topping the list of sterling silver items is a Watson pierced footed vase with a scalloped ornate border and etched design. Standing 16 inches high and 6 3/8 inches in diameter, the vase weighs 35 troy ounces. It is marked on the bottom “No. A871 - Watson - Sterling Silver” and is estimated at $1,200-$1,500.

A Russian enameled desk clock by Faberge in its original box is estimated at $10,000-$15,000. It features green enamel with bronze mounts and crystals surrounding the bezel. The triangle-shape clock measures 4 3/4 inches on each side.

A dore bronze figural mantel clock of a cupid riding a chariot, 14 5/8 inches by 10 7/8 inches carries a $1,500-$1,750 estimate.

Fine jewelry will include 14K and 18K white and yellow gold rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, with diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, tanzanite and other gemstones.

Porcelain will include collections of Lladro, Dresden, Royal Copenhagen, and Bing & Grondahl.

Oil paintings by listed artists and Charles Fazzino serigraphs will be sold along with sterling silver flatware and hollowware, Lalique crystal, Steuben, Murano, bronze figures and Oriental rugs from small to room-size.
