George Davis gallery plans Southern Estates Auction May 13

The sale features fabulous property from various Southern estates in Savannah and Jekyll Island, Ga., as well as Charleston, S.C. Highlights from the sale include a superb and extremely large circa 1843-50 American Classical giltwood mirror (Lot #10), an amazing 18th century Pair of Italian Piedmontan painted papier-mache figural torcheres (Lot #30), circa 1950s pair of Louis XVI-style painted chairs from the workshop of the world-renowned designer Sister Parrish (Lot #120), and a lady’s antique amethyst ring, weighing 22.39 carats and adorned with 48 1.2mm seed pearls (Lot #298).
